SUMMARY:He Does All Things Well
DESCRIPTION:He Does All Things Well!..\n\n\n\n\n\nIn Mark 7:31-37\, we read about a miracle that Jesus performed for a man who was deaf and had a speech impediment. Jesus took him aside from the crowd\, touched his ears and tongue\, and said to him\, “Ephphatha!” which means “Be opened!” And immediately his ears were opened\, his tongue was released\, and he spoke plainly. And the people who witnessed this were astonished and said\, “He has done all things well.” \nWhat does this mean for us today? It means that Jesus cares for us and our needs\, no matter how big or small they are. He is not too busy or too distant to notice us and to help us. He is compassionate and merciful\, and He wants to heal us and restore us. He is able to do more than we can ask or imagine\, according to His power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). \nIt also means that Jesus deserves our praise and our trust. He is the Son of God\, the Creator of all things\, the Lord of all lords. He is the one who spoke the world into existence\, who calmed the storm\, who raised the dead\, who died for our sins\, and who rose again. He is the one who has done all things well\, and He will continue to do so until He comes again. He is worthy of our worship\, our obedience\, our devotion\, and our love. May we always say with gratitude and joy\, “He has done all things well.” \n\n\n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:What Your Faith Can Do
DESCRIPTION:The exact number of scriptures that speak of faith vary depending on the translation and the origins or definition of faith\, in the original texts. However\, one source claims that the word “faith” occurs 514 times in the Bible1. Another source states there are about a 1000 scriptures on faith. Either way there is a lot. In our own congregation we have many stories of Faith and it’s restoring power in our lives. “Faith as a mustard seed\,” can move mountains we are told. Personally\, I can’t imagine living without Faith in God\, and His constant interaction in my Life\, and that of my family’s. Although\, Faith may be unseen\, but then again\, so is air\, but we could not exist without it\, we do see their results each time the air moves or Faith moves\, it’s results can be amazing! \nFrom StudyandObey we glean a few verses of Faith: \nProverbs 3:4-5 So shalt thou find favor and good understanding In the sight of God and man. Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart\, And lean not upon thine own understanding.\nHebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is\, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.\n2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith\, not by sight.\nEphesians 2:8-9 For by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves\, it is the gift of God; not of works\, that no man should glory.\nHebrews 11:1 Now faith is assurance of things hoped for\, a conviction of things not seen.\nMark 11:23 Verily I say unto you\, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain\, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart\, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it.\nPsalm 40:4 Blessed is the man that maketh Jehovah his trust\, And respecteth not the proud\, nor such as turn aside to lies.\nJohn 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life\, but the wrath of God abideth on him.\n1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world\, even our faith.\n1 Peter 1:7 That the proof of your faith\, being more precious than gold that perisheth though it is proved by fire\, may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.\n1 Corinthians 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men\, but in the power of God.\nJohn 3:16 For God so loved the world\, that he gave his only begotten Son\, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish\, but have eternal life.\nRomans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction\nHabakkuk 2: Behold\, his soul is puffed up\, it is not upright in him; but the righteous shall live by his faith.\nActs 3:16 And by faith in his name hath his name made this man strong\, whom ye behold and know: yea\, the faith which is through him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.\n1 Corinthians 13:13 But now abideth faith\, hope\, love\, these three; and the greatest of these is love. \nExamples of Faith \n1 Samuel 14:6 And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armor\, Come\, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that Jehovah will work for us; for there is no restraint to Jehovah to save by many or by few.\nMatthew 9:29 Then touched he their eyes\, saying\, According to your faith be it done unto you.\nLuke 7:50 And he said unto the woman\, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.\nMatthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said\, Thou art the Christ\, the Son of the living God.\nActs 16:33-36 And they said\, Believe on the Lord Jesus\, and thou shalt be saved\, thou and thy house. And they spake the word of the Lord unto him\, with all that were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night\, and washed their stripes; and was baptized\, he and all his\, immediately. And he brought them up into his house\, and set food before them\, and rejoiced greatly\, with all his house\, having believed in God.

SUMMARY:No New Members Class: Just Family!
DESCRIPTION:No New Members Class: Just Family!\nThe Jesus story is filled with how he interacted with people everyday\, doing miracles\,\nhealing the afflicted and more. He provoked people to consider living their days\nabundantly. You see his tenderness of heart and his way of looking at the world\nengaged people to move beyond the boundaries they had set for their life. Jesus\npointed out that our perceptions can hold us captive to be less than we can be. \nYet he didn’t point a finger to say we’re not measuring up. From what we read his way of\nrelating to us clearly accepts us as we are. This doesn’t come without challenging us to\nunderstand more about who we are and who God is.Here at 20Church\, you will not be met with\na lot of formal classes\, formal platitudes\, or formal wear for that matter. We are just\nCommunity people meeting to worship God\, and fellowship. We are all about Community and\nFellowship. Come\, visit perhaps stay for a while.\nWe welcome you to join us Sundays at 11:00am.
