How many we ever at street meetings one year, yeah?
You all know that I reverent what’s going on too much here to try to make something happen.
I think it’s a sacrilege to try to manipulate the spirit of God.
But this morning when I was practicing here, a word came to me that somebody in this church,
your finances are running low and you really need work.
And God needs to open doors for you to be prospered again.
This is a thing that people don’t like to confess and particularly men don’t.
But if there is such a person here, I’m not asking you to come forward,
just stand where you are and we’re going to speak prosperity over you.
I kind of come to the end of my stuff and I need God to answer prayers.
Or anybody like that here? Not I’ll go on.
Now, I want to thank you, Pastor David, for being willing to do different things
because the Lord asked me to do a very different thing today and I’m too old to fight with him.
I’ve learned that he knows what’s best.
And what I’m going to do this morning, I used to criticize people for when I was young.
I’m going to read you a devotional as God gave it to me in my devotions three or four weeks ago.
So I’m at 55, 1 to 5.
To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
O my God, I trust in you. Let me not be ashamed, nor let not my enemies triumph over me.
Indeed, let no one who waits for you be ashamed,
that those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.
So I’m 130.
Out of the depths I have cried to you, O Lord,
Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
If you, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand?
But I’ll all you.
There is forgiveness with you that you may be feared.
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits.
And in his word I do hope.
My soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning.
I say more than those who watch for the morning.
O Israel, O Church of God, hope in the Lord, for with the Lord there is mercy,
and with him is abundant redemption, and he shall redeem Israel from all their iniquities.
